When I learnt that Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh are not my country’s part, I got 420 volts shock. Time and again, our top leaders and officials have stated publicly at all strategic and diplomatic fora that these are an integral part of our country. Then how come Aksai Chin and Arunachal are not our part. But if we go by what Google is showing in Chinese Google map, Aksai Chin and Arunachal are well ceded to China. In our map, Google shows them as disputed territory. To know the difference you have to log in Chinese Google map and Indian Google map separately. At http://ditu.google.com and http://maps.google.com, you will find the difference. A difference articulately created to appease the dragon. As a sovereign nation we must take the cognizance of such a great deliberate misdoing not lesser than an anti national act.
Mind you, Google has not done it unknowingly. The attempt is deliberate and articulate. And the purpose is to appease China. Question arises why a US company would appease China? Answer is simple and obvious. Google wants business to churn out great money. Its predominant market like US is already saturated. Google accounts a total of 65 per cent of total market share in USA. China and India are two biggest markets in Asia, which it can’t really miss out. In China Google occupies 31 per cent market share which is well below, its competitor the desi Baidu search engine. Google eyes exponential market growth after its rival switched to a new advertising system, Phoenix Nest. Google’s worldwide sales are estimated to be around 22 billion US $. In this scenario China with big Internet user number is the most potent and promising market. India is also a big market but territorial dispute factor in its growth in India unlike China, which uses all sort of instrument to imperialist Maoism.
There is a long pending boundary dispute between India and China. The territorial border dispute of Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh are not settled. Meanwhile there have been confirmed reports of Chinese intrusion into Indian Territory. China is also accused of aggressive patrolling along Sino- India border. China is understood to grab land inch by inch. But this time, in cyber world, Google helped China acceding the whole of Arunachal and Aksai Chin to China. The reason for this is the business. China had banned the Google in June after China’s Internet Illegal Information Reporting Center admonished Google for allowing pornographic images through Google China Website. The Chinese Government has banned the Google in China for sometime. But the ban was lifted later on. What was the deal? The pornographic images could easily be surfed through Google even today! Then the deal must have been something to appease China. Though Google claims that it shows countries stated policy about the territorial boundaries. What could have been the best bid of acceding such a vast territory to an imperialistic nation for the want of business.
