Two brave pilots of Indian Air Force (IAF) gone into precision flying mode of their Cheetah helicopter defying gravitational pull, wind draft to safely evacuate a pregnant lady trapped in Chennai floods. The young lady hours later gave birth to twins happily kicking and crying- thanks to Indian Air Force pilots, Wing Commander Samual and his co-pilot Sq Leader Venkat. One again Indian Air Force proves it sloganeering motto "Touch The Sky With Glory".

It is interesting to know how the evacuation takes place. According to Indian Air Force officials on 5th December there was a request from someone on social media that a 9 month pregnant lady S. Rajeshwari needs evacuation. The address and phone numbers were given.

The officer at Air Headquarter had asked the 'contact' if the person can plot the coordinate of the place. The officer at Air Headquarter activated the ops room in Tambaram Air Force Station (AFS) in Tamil Nadu.

The air force officer was also in touch with one lady called Uma an acquaintance of S. Rajeshwari, the pregnant lady.

After getting the coordinates on social media Wing Commander Bhat in Ops room in Tambaram AFS helped sending the Cheetah helicopter piloted by Wing Commander Simon and his co pilot Squadron Leader Venkat.

Both pilots steered the aircraft safely over the rooftop of the lady's house in Ramapuram suburb. The Cheetah helicopter was hovering in a stable position just inches away from a structure appears to be a water tank on rooftop. While precision flying is not uncommon in Indian Air Force, both pilots won accolades when they the lady was evacuated through the ladder of hovering chopper. She was  first flown from Ramapuram to Tambaram Air force station, about 25 kilometers away.

Hours later the very same day, S. Rajeshwari gave birth to cute twins happily kicking, crying and cuddling. Thanks to Indian Air Force pilots' heroic act. Both Pilots Wing co Samual and Sq Ldr Venkat also met S. Rajeshwari in hospital after the delivery.
