Rashtriya Rifles Conducts Awami Mulaqat

Udhampur  (J&K),  06 January 2016

As part of civil military cooperation and to strengthen the relations with the local populace, an Awami Mulaqat was organised by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters , Reasi.

The event was  attended by 104 village elders, sarpanches, headmasters of various schools, representatives from the Army and the civil administration. The meet laid emphasis on skill development and empowering the local youth towards community building apart from promoting education and village level
games in rural areas.   Lectures on various opportunities available for the youth through schemes by the Government were also conducted on the occasion.
